What we do
Our aim is to:
- Rescue stray and unwanted cats and kittens, rehabilitate and re-home them
Sadly most cats that come into our care have a story. Some are abandoned when their owners move, some have just wandered off and some come to us because their owners can no longer look after them or their owners just don't want them anymore.
If we have space we will take in any cat that is in need and re-home them in the most suitable environment.
- We encourage the neutering of all cats and kittens
We can assist with the neutering of privately owned cats if their owners are on benefits; are pensioners or are students. Call us on 01424 754328 or 01424 433121 for details.
- Inform the public about the care of cats and kittens.
We often get calls to the branch requesting advice. An important part of our work is to help the public by advising them on cat care and/or answering any questions they might have. Cat care leaflets can be ordered from the main Cats Protection or are available free at our local charity shop in St Leonards-on-Sea.
